On-Grid Solar Energy system
A grid-connected generation system produces your energy needs, and any excess is transferred to the public electricity grid via an interchange meter.
Mechanism of Operation:
1. Electricity Generation: Solar panels convert sunlight into direct current electrical energy.
2. Current Conversion: The direct current is converted to alternating current (AC) compatible with the electricity grid via an inverter.
3. Grid Connection: The generated energy is directly consumed to operate electrical appliances. If the generated energy exceeds the user's needs, the excess is exported to the public electricity grid.
4. Grid Consumption: If the energy produced by the solar panels is insufficient (for example, at night), the public electricity grid is relied upon to meet the needs.
System Advantages:
Reduced Electricity Bills: Reduces electricity consumption from the grid, thus lowering monthly costs.
- Ease of Installation: It does not require batteries, making it less complex and less expensive
Surplus energy can be sold to electricity companies in some countries through net metering.
- Environmentally friendlyReducing reliance on conventional energy sources, thus reducing harmful emissions.
System components:
Solar panels: Receive sunlight and convert it into direct current.
Mounting system: Made of aluminum, this is the structure on which the solar panels are mounted.
Inverter: Converts the direct current produced by the panels into alternating current to operate all electrical appliances and is responsible for regulating the electricity and exporting it to the grid.
Cables: Specially manufactured to connect the solar system components.
